What personal closure covers
A confirmed request schedules the personal vault for permanent removal after the displayed recovery period and may be cancelled while recoverable.
A scheduled request is not a deletion-complete receipt. Completion is reported only after stored objects and linked processing data pass through the provider-confirmed deletion path.
Actions that remain separate
- Cancelling Intelligence or another paid item stops renewal; it does not close a workspace.
- Moving a file to Trash does not close an account.
- Device-local files must be cleared from each device.
- A revoked share cannot erase a recipient's downloaded copy.
GDPR and legal-retention boundary
Erasure and closure are not absolute. Organisation-controlled or clinic-held records, recipient copies, billing or security evidence, legal claims or holds, backups, and lawful retention duties require separate assessment by the responsible controller. The final workflow must document scope, exceptions, processor deletion, and the response provided to the person.
